When Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and Victor Von Doom teleport to another dimension, they discover a fascinating new world. However, after encountering a strange substance, things quickly go wrong and Victor is lost in the chaos. With the help of Sue Storm, Reed, Johnny, and Ben are able to return home, but on the way back, there's a disaster that alters their DNA and leaves these four with extraordinary powers. While Sue, Johnny, and Ben get recruited by the government, Reed goes on the run as he searches for a way to reverse their transformations. Yet, Reed finds himself reuniting with his friends when he learns Victor is alive with only death and destruction on his mind. In order to stop Victor's villainous plan, Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben realize the only way to save the world from doom is to work together as a team.
Listen as we discuss how this infamous reboot isn't a Marvel-ous film (especially the third act), but it's not a complete disaster either, thanks to a good cast and a few interesting story ideas.

When Bastian Balthazar Bux finds "The NeverEnding Story" in the school library, he returns to Fantasia where he reunites with some old friends. However, things take a nasty turn when a bully named Slip steals this book and starts devastating this magical world. Bastian is then tasked with retrieving "The NeverEnding Story" and saving Fantasia from yet another terrible force. This quest is easier said than done, though, as a few Fantasians accidentally follow Bastian back home and find themselves scattered across the earth. Bastian soon finds himself in a race against time as he struggles to locate his friends whilst trying to stop Slip from using "The NeverEnding Story" to recreate Fantasia in his own cruel image.
Listen as we discuss how this sequel is an improvement over the last film with a quirky new adventure, some cool practical effects, and Jack Black (in his 4th film role) having fun chewing the scenery.

With the help of his warrior friend, Atreyu, Bastian will strive to defeat this new threat and save Fantasia once again. However, the Emptiness is only part of a larger scheme by the evil sorceress, Xayide, to dethrone the Childlike Empress and rule Fantasia. As Bastian and Atreyu get closer to saving the day, Xayide will enact a plan to stop them by pitting these heroes against each other and making Bastian forget about his mission altogether.
Listen as we discuss how this sequel lacks the magic and wonder of the original film despite returning characters, a decent emotional arc, and new creature designs.

As the Enterprise crew celebrates the marriage of Commander William Riker and Counselor Deanna Troi, Captain Jean-Luc Picard gets an urgent message that there's been a regime change on Romulus. Picard is then told to travel to the Romulan homeworld and learn more about their new praetor/leader, Shinzon. When Picard and his team meet the mysterious Shinzon, they are shocked to discover he looks just like Picard. After Picard hears Shinzon's backstory, he gets a better understanding of this man and even begins to confide in him. Yet, things take a drastic turn when Picard and his team find out why Shinzon took over Romulus as well as his grand plan for the galaxy. In order to save the day, Picard and his crew will have to put their lives on the line to stop Shinzon and his evil agenda.... even if that means some might have to make the ultimate sacrifice to do so.

When the Enterprise crew returns to Ba'ku, they discover what's really going on and find themselves trying to stop a major conspiracy to take over this planet and steal its mysterious resources.

When the Borg Collective go back in time and change history, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the Enterprise crew follow them to the past to get answers. They soon discover the Borg have traveled to April 4, 2063 to stop Zefram Cochrane from inventing warp drive (which leads to first contact with aliens and sets the stage for humanity's future). While half the crew goes to Earth to make sure Cochrane achieves warp drive, the other half stays on the Enterprise to stop the Borg from achieving their diabolical goal. Faced with the most important mission of their careers, Picard and his team will let nothing stop them from preserving history as they make one last stand against this resilient hivemind.
